Harrow and Eton both won two competitions during the Public Schools Championships at Queens. Harrow won the Ist Pairs with Joe Bone, winner of the Foster Cup before Christmas, pairing up with Will Fortune to defeat surprise finalists,

Mike Bailey and Archie Fellowes of Winchester in five games 9/15,15/7,15/6,15/3,15/7. In the Junior Colts Harrow's  pair of Sam Northeast, who won the same competition last year, and Will Jones beat J Gibbor and T Hoolahan of St Paul's 1/15,15/0,11/15,15/5,18/15.

Eton won the second pairs Tom Redmayne and Charlie Ringrose beating Wellington's first seeds Fuller and Shephard in a roller coaster match,15/1,12/15,15/3,15/1,4/15,15/8. In the Colts they again triumphed over the first seeds. Will Hopton and Chris Stefanowicz beating D Tristao and A Griffiths of St Paul's in another tense game 1/15,15/9,15/6,15/11,3/15,9/15,17/15.

These two wins combined with their successes in the singles competitions before Christmas meant that Eton won the Faber Cup, given for the most successes in both singles and doubles, by one point.
