Eton make the most of home court advantage

Eton beat Cheltenham by 6 matches to 2 on Thursday November the 3rd.at Eton. Their first pair of Hopton and Redmayne engaged in a tense 7 game struggle losing in the seventh game despite looking likely winners at 3 games to two ahead and 12 all in the sixth game. The match was full of lively rallies but also marked by a lot of shots onto the back wall. All four players were guilty of trying to finish the rallies off too quickly and there were numerous instances of kills at the front of the court hit into the tin. Rock of Cheltenham was the best player on either side with his partner James saving his best for the end of the match. The Etonians seemed to tire over the last two games.
