Winchester's second pair ,Christian Portz and Sean Knight

made the  seemingly impossible look easy when they won both the second and first pair's Championships on the same day. The Public Schools Championship is the second oldest rackets competition in the calendar after the World Championship and have been played for since 1860, and at their present venue, Queen's Club. since 1888. In all that time no second pair has reached the final of the first pairs let alone won the Championship, so it is difficult to overemphasise the magnitude of the Winchester pairs achievement.
